Bissinger makes me embarrassed to be anywhere near his age group, as do many of my so-called forty- and fifty-something peers. Memo to Bissinger: If you don’t like what bloggers say or do, don’t piss and moan about how awful blogs are–get your own damn blog and show them how it should be done, you old fart.

It’s an acronym that’s short for ‘mom I’d like to fuck’. It comes from the movie American Pie (and probably other places) and these days is something of a compliment, apparently.

Thank you! You haven’t said it before, but I appreciate it. A friend of mine used the term ’subtle bluntness’ to describe how I approach things. I can’t come right out and say it. I have to hint and hint, but eventually I get frustrated and just spit it out.

I’ve had to switch from drinking coffee back to drinking tea myself. The “coffee crash” was killing me. Tea gives me just the right amount of caffeine to keeo me functional without putting me into a coma.
